From today, men can access free, confidential 1:1 therapy through HUMEN’s partnership with BetterHelp. There is no waiting list, no referral, and no cost to the person using it.
How it works
You start through Find your space on this website. A short eligibility check confirms you can access the partnership, then you follow BetterHelp’s pathway to set up an account and be matched with a licensed therapist. Sessions take place directly with BetterHelp, on your own schedule.
HUMEN does not deliver the therapy itself. Our role is to make the door easier to find and to remove the two things that most often stop men before they start: cost, and not knowing where to begin.
Not a crisis service
HUMEN Space 1:1 Therapy is support before crisis, not during one. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 999. For urgent mental health support, contact NHS 111 or Samaritans on 116 123.
